Any black humor about the business of ticket reselling resonates with me. I found this one today (this is not one of mine but I wish it was!) and it’s so true. There are so many sleazy backroom deals and stuff that goes on related to ticket sales that the honest business (like the one I used to own) doesn’t stand a chance. One wonders how all the tickets get “sold out” in one minute and how it is that often “real” people are unable to buy them even if they are poised at their little computers the instant the sale goes live. I have thought about organizing a nationwide boycott with the slogan reminiscent of Nancy Reagan’s “Just say no!” My slogan would be “Just don’t go!” Wouldn’t it be great to bring these sleazebags to their knees?
Few industries are as brutally political as the pop music business. And few companies are as overbearingly dominant in their sector of the music field — or have as many critics — as the Ticketmaster ticketing empire.
Indeed. and this toon wasnt even about Ticket Bastard per se. Generally speaking, when a company has a lot of critics, there’s usually a reason why.
Great way to explain via Pictures and Cartoons. some of industry very badly affected by politics like Movie business.
Haha this was a good one. I always hate it when there are those shady guys standing out there trying to sell you tickets. Its just ridiculous, and not to mention very annoying.

great cartoon, i think my friend will like of these.
These sports athletes are getting paid way too much. I boycotted going to them a while back cause I got tired of the owners getting rich and the athelets getting overpaid at the expense of people like me. Sports is a business now, nothing more.
agree. I never bought any ticket from reseller, but people buy this tickets and this is the reason.
Whenever people wait to do everything until finally you’re confident it’s right, you may probably never do much of anything
Nice article you have posted. The steps explaining by cartons is good. I am really enjoying to read it.
