This amazing free SEO analysis website deserves more than just a feeble fleeting tweet lost among all those 500 lb. canaries on Twitter. The mostly nontechnical website owners in our local Etailing group really liked it. Why? Because it not only flags SEO issues, but it tells you in non geek what you can do about them.

How did Hot Dorkage fare? It got 14 attaboys and zero red x’s and 9 “you might want to look at this.” My hand coded site did even better. Some of the cautions have to do with this being a blog. For example, I have just a small amount of inline styles and javascript that pertains to specific posts. That’s just the price you pay. Massive inline javascripts and styles in the head of a page banjax the crawlers. I know that the small amount of inline scripts and styles I have a) are not in the head, and b) are hardly big enough to slow things down.
I’m sure you know that some SEO tweaks deliver a lot more bang for the buck than others. For example I got a yellow on caching but I’ll let that ride. I will worry about caching when I have the traffic to make it worthwhile.
Will you help me on that? A stumble or digg would be great, and it would help SEO Automatic too. Thanks.
Hello,
There is a lot to be said for a reputable SEO with good credentials, quality references, and a friendly personality. A lot of people who know what they are talking about can be so jaded by the SEO community because many get very cynical very early because of ll the scammer out there.
If this traffic keeps up, it will become my best day in terms of traffic!
